Well, Alex and I survived his first major injury yesterday.  He is only 20 months old and is now sitting here with a really nasty knot on his head, some scratches and a mild concussion.  He was playing with his cousin in the water hose yesterday when he tripped and flipped head first onto the concrete.   He actually took it pretty well.  He only cried for a second and then wanted to play, but we had to take him to the doctor to make sure of course.  We doubled up on his cortef for the rest of the day yesterday and today, but other than being a little cranky (of course if my head hurt that bad I would be cranky too) he seems to be handling everything okay.  Poor kid, just got over what we affectionately termed "banana bottom" from his allergy and now this.  It has been an interesting week.
