Your wellcome and I’m glad you have learned from us. Of course I would hate a child to go through what we went through but it is changing now and in the last 15 years I’ve seen a massive shift in the way health care is.

When I was diagnosed in 1983 we didn’t have the MRI or Cat scan the ultrasound came in in 1985 and took up a room and now look how small they are.

We now have the 3d scan which can easily detect abnormalities in the womb. So treatment before the baby is born is becoming more possible. In 20 years or so who knows the practice now will be unacceptable.
