I agree wholeheartedly with Jenny.  This was our first conference and we learned alot.  I came away inspired and packed with alot of helpful information and hope for the future.  What impacted me the most personally was what was said from DR.Baker from New York, and that was how, what , and when to explain this condition to your child in terms that they would understand and to remember that their little ears are listening to what you say to others when asked about their condition.  I still struggle with the proper way to handle when asked about it.  When to protect, when to educate others.  I got alot of helpful suggestion from other parents, but could use some more imput from others who are more experienced than I am, my grandaughter is 14months and swcah who is being adopted by my daughter.  Thanks, Shireen
