Dr New didn’t really say how they would change the mutation of the gene or why it would only last a year they have accomplished this in one mouse so far.  It will take many successful attempts before it will be considered for humans; obviously. 

 

Overall I thought the conference was good did anyone else feel the drs were conflicted about dex therapy for pregnant women I know Dr New is all for it but I spoke with one of the other docs can’t recall his name he had a royal blue shirt on kind of younger looking anyway he says he wouldn’t advise taking dex when pg because they don’t have long term studies on babies that were exposed to dex and didn’t have CAH?  Any one else have any ideas it’s hard to make up your mind when even docs can’t agree
