Hi Caroline, sorry you are going through so much. First thing that comes to my mind is that maybe you should have doubled for about a monthed then weaned down. It took me about a month for my body to get back to normal after gallbladder surgery, and I just had the scope surgery so no major cuts. I also had some crazy stuff happen to me, because I weaned down too quickly, even before I should have cause I thought I didn’t need to. Anyway the knuckles on my toes turned brown, (looked dirty) thats a sign one is in need.

Anyway, it woud take a while for the Dex to kick in, maybe your body knew thats what it needed so it calmed down till it got into the system :o)

Maybe you could double for a while and see how you feel. Also you are suppose to wean down VERY slowly. I’ll never make that mistake again. Good luck I hope you get better. Get another doc, you need to see what that 17 ohp is. Take care
