Hi all!

Well as I posted below, we were doing pretty good. I thought she was just having some flu shot side effects so we went trick or treating. We actually had a really warm night for it. That was amazing for Ohio weather. Tuesday I almost sent her to school she was doing so great, then she got a fever by afternoon and could not stop coughing. She slept solid all night, and then by this afternoon she started wheezing. She has been idle with a 99.2 degree fever for the past two days. She has mild to moderate asthma as they call it so she is prone to getting pneumonia. We usually give her some breathing treatments with her nebulizer and the wheezing goes away but this afternoon it got worse. So I took her into her ped. and sure enough, her right top lung has pneumonia. But it is the walking kind. How weird is that. I think that is the kind you are able to literally walk around with where the other kind you can’t get out of bed. She is in good spirits, looks good, just wheezing. Her pulse ox was 95 so that was considered still ok. She has been put on high doses of antibiotics, and we are pushing the liquids constantly, and I am doubling her Cortef for now. She was singing and terrorizing the cat earlier this evening so I think thus far she is holding her own. I just don’t want this taking a turn for the worst and going full blown into pneumonia and end up in the E.R. by morning. Ugh. I am too tired to worry about it now. Got to give it up to God. On top of this I myself continue to be sick because I haven’t slept between the two of us tag teaming coughing. I guess Vicam doesn’t work on pnemonia. Please pray for her to make a speedy recovery.
