You stated in your first post that you received the call from the Texas Department of Health.

Your # must of been passed on from the case worker. Agency has tons of computers to look up medical conditions plus connections to medical social workers.

As a result of the positive test results of CAH this case goes up in the level of case management because of the medical nature of the client.

You’ve taken her to a primary care doctor. Click on the thread LINK :re: to jen and you will find a link that states in the last paragraph the steps Texas takes to link primary care doctors to ped endos.

Case workers aren’t just people off the street and require a degree plus training before aquiring any caseload. Yes, the case loads are large but anyone would go CAH WHAT IS THIS? and seek the best plan to manage the case.

Puzzled as to "realized we weren’t making it up" what is this refering to? and why would any case worker think someone would be making anything up? CYA  Kid has a paper cut? documentation and off to the hospital because by any chance there was an infection? Page one of next days newspaper that protective services wasn’t taking care of the medical needs of the most fragile citizens. People like to keep their jobs.
