All your comments helped, especially the doggy meds incident, woof!  The florinef actually tasted slightly sweet, not bad at all.  (Unlike the cortef, I tasted a small drop of the suspension out of curiousity and ooooh poooor baby! that is bitter! even in the suspension!) 

The doctor finally called back at the end of the day. I guess she wasn’t that concerned.  She said that since I have no underlying conditions such as high blood pressure, if anything, I may get some swelling or a headache. Sort of the same side effects as if a CAH’er is on a too high dose of florinef.  Really I didn’t notice anything except I was less thirsty. The next day I noticed I had drank less bottled water that usual.
