My 3rd son (CAH) is 4yrs old and he is and has ALWAYS been right around the 85% in height. My 2nd son (non CAH) is also very tall. I think he is 85 or 90%.  My 1st son (non CAH) just had his 11 yr checkup and he was so disappointed because his estimated final height is 5ft 8 inch. He wanted to be taller.  I am 5’6" and my husband is 5’ 9".   I told him not to worry so much because it’s just an estimate but he is not happy about it.  My 4th son (CAH) is like my first son, on the smaller side. He is almost two and he is wearing size 2.  Now about your grandson, I would say that it’s probably just how your grandson is.  Now, if he is under treated or over treated over the years, then yes that can affect his final height but he is so young right now that I doubt it would have anything to do with CAH.  I wouldn’t make any comments to the mom or dad because I’m sure they are probably worrying about that especially if you mentioned all your other grandchildren were bigger. Each child is different so I would just chalk it up to that, at least for right now.
