Hi Erin. Congrats on the new baby girl! I don’t know if I can help with the first question, because I’m not sure. But I do know that after my son was diagnosed he gained weight like crazy, but it was wonderful for us. He looked like a premie even though he was just a week early, so he really needed the extra weight.  And I don’t think you baby would have true acne unless she was undersuppressed. Hopefully someone else can talk about that, but both of my kids had baby acne and my daughter doesn’t have CAH. It could just be her skin getting used to her new ’outside’ environment :)

As far as maintenance dose..my son is 17 months, and we just changed his dose 2 months ago and he’s still not on 2.5mg 3xdaily yet. We do 2mg, 1mg, 2mg. When he was first born we didn’t use corfet because it was too hard to get small enough dosages, so we were using prednisolone in very small amounts until he needed more and then switched to cortef.
