I don’t think there are any signs to really go by. The only thing that I can tell you is that if you think your child has high blood pressure get it checked out fast! My son has high blood pressure that is said not to be connected with his swcah. I don’t want to scare you. But how I knew something was wrong was when he was about 3 months old, he was sweating and trying really hard to breathe. He was in the beginning stages of congestive heart failure. The high blood pressure was putting a tremendous strain on his heart. It enlarged it. He had dialted cardiomypathy. He had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. This all came from high blood pressure. So if you suspect something is wrong have you little one checked out. Since then my little guy has been improving greatly. I hope this helps answer you question.barbara
