I took Dex when I was pregnant with my unaffected daughter.  This was 8 years ago.  I was only the 2nd person that particular hospital had ever treated when I started treatment.  I was taken off the Dex when the test results came back that she was unaffected.  My daughter was born healthy and beautiful.  As months passed I noticed that her neck muscles weren’t developing and she had trouble picking up her head. 

I got a call one morning when she was 4 months old from my daycare provider.  They put her down for a nap, she rolled over onto her stomach and couldn’t pick her little face up off the mattress.  They found her unconscious and not breathing.  Luckily they were able to rescitate her and we have had no lasting side affects from this horrible incident. 

Chills just down my spine when I read your post about Dex causing muscle weakness.
