SophinaHi
My daughter who is now eight was vaccinated several times, but never produced an antibody reposnse, so last year I refused the vaccine as it was quite a large injection (about ml in each leg, because it was so painfull they used a freeze spray to freeze the area before vaccinating!). Alisa did get chicken pox earlier this but coped very well I doubled the dose of hydrocortisone that she was on for a week, and apart from the itching she didn’t really have any other problems. Now I am glad that she is over and done with, at least I can stop fretting everytime some one I know gets chicken pox.
I know of other children with CAH that have coped really well, and really no differently to children that do not have CAH.
Alisa has salt wasting CAH.
