AndrewHi Carrie
Our chap was over-suppressed in the first year and probably lost some height potential. With babies the treatment protocol seems to be to err on the side of caution, especially if the levels are generally unsettled. A small difference in final height potential is of less importance, and harder to measure, than survival and general health.
As Sandra has pointed out, there are a multitude of factors affecting growth rates and final height. I would still make sure this question was addressed at the next hospital visit, if only so that you might be reassured.
With every good wish,
