Laura-I’ll pray that your daughter doesn’t get the chicken pox. My daughter with SWCAH, now 9, got the chicken pox in nursery school. What got me upset was the family knew their child was exposed to it but brought the child to school anyways and thought we parents would thank them for our kids getting over with it early! Of course that little girl gave everyone in her class the chicken pox! My daughter had the vaccine, and I thought she wouldn’t get the pox. Well she did-she had only a few marks but had a high fever for 6 days. We had to triple her steroids, keep her on tylenol and motrin around the clock, then taper her off the high dose of steroids back to the normal dose. She was a wreck for a while. But we got through it without going to the hospital-just a little scarey and stressful. Sounds like everyone has had a different experience. Best to you. Happy Thanksgiving!Pamela
