Thanks for your reply Sandra. I remember that the doctor who told me that was actually an endocrinologist that I went to see ( just for a thyroid check). I remember I was talking about the possibility of having another child with cah and she said she was not fully convinced that it did not "just happen" spontaneously I guess. I just thought the parents had to be carriers. But like you said it has to start somewhere. If I could go back I would defintely have asked her more questions, it was just after my daughter was born three yrs. ago and I was completely overwhelmed at that time.
