After I asked the school nurse if they disinfect everything in the room in which chicken pox is discovered she said, no. They don’t catch it hand to hand contact, they catch in through the air. It is respiratory caught. Go figure. She said they are most contagious when they don’t even show signs of it yet. That is mostly how it is transported, from kids that have no signs yet. BUT like someone mentioned, yes they are still contagious from what I heard too if they have not scabbed up yet. Ewwwww!
