My son’s vision has been changing dramatically. For the past 18 months he has had a vision check every 6 months to keep him updated. Each time there is a drastic (Drs terms) change in prescription for the glasses. My theory is that because of the more dramatic growth increase compared to a "typical" kid his vision is having the more dramatic growth/changes as well.
Also, too much of the steroids can cause vision problems such as glaucoma. It would be unlikely to have such excess in steroids to cause damage (especially if we have good steady body growth) but since it is a possibility... the optomotrist strongly suggests further vision testing done at the local Childrens Hospital. (He is not affiliated with the hospital)
Any other experience out there??Susan
