Julia SFrom our experience with my daughter, whether or not the evening dose affects growth depends on the size of the dose. We now have my daughter take meds 5 times a day. She is one who metabolizes quickly and has lots of side effects on large doses. We used to dose only 4 times per day at 3am, 7am, noon, and 5:30PM. My daughter was growing rather rapidly (my hubby is 6’5’ and I am 5’8" so we weren’t too alarmed) after the first 2 years of life barely growing at all when she was taking the largest dose in the evening. She started at the 40% in height and slowly dropped off completely. When we switched to circadium rhythm dosing she began to grow. Anyway, about a year ago we added in a 10:00pm dose that we give while she is sleeping before we go to bed. Her growth slwed down somewhat but hasn’t stopped altogether. This dose is rather small compared to the 3am and 7am doses. She is on 9.5 mg per day. I cut the pills with a sharp knife. No it’s not exact for each dose but I do know how much she is getting per day which is important. We have excellent results with this schedule and I am very happy with my daughter’s growth. Julia
