aimeeI’ve always had good levels but can’t stand the noise/ lights in grocery stores and large department stores- I deal most of the time but would much rather go to a small market or clothes shop. Idiot me decided it was a wonderful idea to work just for the Holidays in a large retail store. Will I last? it’s an hour by hour thing. The noise has it’s own energy/feel to it-- money, emptiness, negativity with small pockets of positive.
Music? LOUD IS FINE. Kids laughing, yelling or crying is OK.
Have a story to share:
Was riding an elevator down @ the retail store and this couple w/ their little six year old was riding down with me. The parents went to me watch this and then started singing Christmas carols- the little girl gave her parents a look like they went Goofy/Daffy and she put her hands over her ears. They stopped singing and she took her hands off her ears w/ have wish they would behave look. The Mom lightly pulled on one of the kid’s pig-tails and the Dad pulled on the other. Then the three of them all burst out laughing/giggling and off they went.
