Corri, I am doing the same right now with my son who has fragile x syndrome and we are trying to get him ssi now. But I was told by my son’s Ot that they are tryring to deny people but if they appeal they will get it. She said that she had a mom who tried to get it but was denied she appealed and she got it. But I do know that they said that we can apply for our other son who has swcah. They said that he should apply too. So let me know what happens and I will let you know what happens.
