My son Brayden (SWCAH) also had a bit of bloody looking mucus in his diaper one time when he was several months old.  I took him to the doctor and they did a stool sample, but nothing came back. It was pretty much unexplained as to why he had the small amount of blood, and it never happened again.  It apparently was just some strange thing and he was okay.
