According to my drug book (I’m a nursing student), the generic for Cortef is Hydrocortisone. As for the dexamethasone, it is the generic, trade names for it are decadrol, decadron, dexameth, dexasone plus a few more... As far as my book says, it is available in 0.25mg, 0.5mg, 0.75mg, 1mg, 1.5mg, 2mg, 4mg, and 6mg tblets. This may have changed though, as my book is about a year old.
