That’s exactly what I’d like to do, but don’t know how to convince a dr. to prescribe it for her. At least, I haven’t had any luck with 2 endos and an obgyn, trying to get it prescribed for androgen excess. They say that since she doesn’t have LOCAH, then it must be PCOS. She does have a followup with her allergist in 2 weeks and I will try to get him to do it, but I think it will be a hard sell. They were so anxious to get her weaned off it originally. I’ve never heard of using prednisone in low maintence doses for hives, just high doses initially to calm down the immune response. Wish me luck!
