We no longer use Google in our house - but that decision was made months ago because of the way they track you and other reasons that I can’t recall.. mostly they’re bad. They are the most popular because of the catch phrase.. "Google it"

I’ve not used Teoma or Ditto... but my husband has. If he doesn’t trust a site or source then he doesn’t put it on the computer to use. They are on the computer to use. However, sites change all the time. I recommend double checking everything.
