I am 16 weeks pregnant.  I had the CVS done on November 3rd.  I personally have had no problems with the CVS and the doctor I went to said that he has been doing them for 12 years and has never had a patient miscarry due to the procedure.  As far as waiting for the ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby, I don’t trust ultrasounds.  My brother and his wife were told 2 different times at different ultrasounds that their first child was a boy and Chelsie Ann is definately all girl.  I have heard of similar experiences with several other people.  Still, whatever decision you make will be the right decision.  This is your health and your child, so go with your instincts.  My prayers are with you.
