All if you are embarassed about that part of CAH and don’t even want it on medcial sites for students to learn. The Intersex Society of North America is on a college tour, writing books etc. making money off of parents shame, seceracy, and embarassment.

Other genetic conditions involving the genital area also came right up with pictures for students. There are tons of medicial sites that have cah external genital pictures along with genital pictures from other conditions and a link on this site also has a picture. I’m confused as to why you are all demanding the one picture to be taken down and it’s like you are all eating out of the hand of the ISNA.

Written material off the web also mentions the possibility of ambigous genitals and I do understand where you are coming from but unless you can really explain and come to terms with everything about CAH- you are really in a bind is a part that you can’t hide forever. Yep, my 15 year old baby sitter knew exactly how my external genitals looked before any surgery becasue she helped potty train me.  Later on the only thing that she ever said to me was that she was scared to sleep at my big old house and always wondered why I wasn’t.
