Selina,

My son (now 4 1/2) also had serious vomiting issues and blood in his stool. The Pediatric GI put him on Reglan and Prevacid(in addition to the Salt, Cortef and Flrinef he was already taking for CAH) for the Reflux but, we also had to change his formula to a predigested kind called Progestimil(very$$). Sometimes babies muscles(or nerves) in their esophagus are not mature and this can cause them to reflux. There are medications to help this, and fortunately it gets better when they start sitting up more as they aren’t laying flat, and eventually thes muscles mature. In my son’s case he was also not able to properly break down the formula or was allergic to the formula. It’s been a few years and it was an extremely stressful(as you well know) time so I apologize that I can;t remember the details.

The good news is that it gets SO much easier as they get older. Hang in there, you’re in our prayers.
