I think it was around 2 when she got the shot. I can’t remember, i have to look at her records. So far every kid that got the shot, got the pox. I would say so far that I have heard, they have had pretty mild cases. Our worry was, is that all they will have? If they get exposed again later down the road, will they get another mild case? I have heard in another country that they too have used it and it has been extremely successful. Not a child had them. Not even a mild case. Why in America are we getting them, if we had the shot? I am hoping someone from another country that was vaccinated for Chicken Pox posts. I am really curious. Did we not make the shot the way we were supposed to? Some were talking about it not being the temperature it was supposed to be kept at. That is what affected it. Who knows. I really can’t complain because they are mild cases BUT, it worries me that there are cases STILL out there if they were designed to totally keep Chicken Pox away. Is this shot going to be enough for the future? I just don’t know. I found three marks on her back last night. She is a hivey kid so I am watching them. Ugh. I wish their forehead would send out a magical message saying, YES THESE ARE CHICKEN POX! I will let everyone know. I hope everyone keeps posting their thoughts. Thanks!
