Well all is well. She is up to about 38. I lost count. BUT only a few seem to really bother her. I talked to a mom today that didn’t have her daughter receive the vaccine and she said she is COVERED! Has no appetite and is miserable. She is older, in the 4th grade. Hmm that shot just may have been worth it. As long as she never gets them again, then I will have faith in this vaccine. That little boy is still in the hospital I mentioned earlier. Not sure what his medical condition is, but I guess the pox is pretty dangerous to his system. HE got the shot too when he was young. Thank God, I can’t imagine what would have happened to him without it. My daughter is still sporting a low grade fever I keep under control with Motrin. It is always like 99.3 or so when I take it. Haven’t stress dosed yet. I am vigilant with taking her temp. But all and all she is doing really great. Little tired, but quite active. I think that Benadryl at night helped her tremedously. By morning I could tell it wore off because she was tossing and turning until she awoke. She said she was itchy again. I am sure the heat of her blankets promps that. But again, all is calm all is bright....ahhhhhhhhh.
