LauraOk. So you all know I have a child with chicken pox this week. But my other question is this. Anyone get hives, CAH or not? I have noticed my daughter gets hives often this year. Most of the time, on her hands. Sometimes on her legs. Nothing huge, just a couple will pop up here and there and then disappear. But like I said most are on her hands. I am going to keep a diary of when she gets these. I feel she gets them when she is under stress. Although if she picks up our mean cat to "love/torture" it she can get a few after that. BUT since she is allergic to the nasty thing, and is NOT allowed to touch it, she is not really in the element. That cat is not allowed where she is. (nor does it want to be) Also this happens at school, they have no cats there. It seems lately it happens after she plays a video game, and when she comes home from school. One day she said she had them all day at school. I know she has been quite stressed with second grade this year. So I think I am going to contribute these hives to stress. I just don’t know. I thought Carol or someone that knew alot about steriods said this could contribute to hives. I can’t remember. Anyone know what truly causes hives? And why nerves can trigger them? I don’t think this is a CAH thing but I can’t rule it out. Thanks everyone.
