I know exactly where you are coming from Debbie. Although we are a ways from that! But I know there will be a time when my son won’t be content with me being around all the time making sure that he will be ok. He has two older brothers. I know he will want to do everything that they will be doing. I get nervous just thinking about it. You want to make sure that he has an outlet or ways to open up. That is the mother in us wanting to always watch over our children. It is not being over protective it is just being MOM! As our sons grow and get older they are going to want their independence. I hope you find something that works for him and you. I thought the older they get the less you worry but as a mother it comes with the territory.
