ToniaCindi,
This must be such a stressful time for you! We’re here to listen, offer support and offer advice. Sounds like you’re in a major crux with having an endo so far away. My best advice to you would be to have a well stocked medical bag with the solu cortef injection, an emergency letter and everything you need to give the shot. Whatever hospital and fire dept. is closest to you or would help Jackson in time of need, I would take the emergency letter along with the endo’s number in case they have questions or need to confirm any info. Take it as high in the chain of command that you need to to get results. That way if something does happen, you don’t feel helpless. Have a plan in place with them. Make sure Jackson’s endo is helping you with this when needed. Make this plan and then whenever or if ever it is needed, back it up with your emergency letter and protocal for emergency treatment. CARES just published a wonderful pamphlet for treatment. I also have a letter of my own. If you want help getting either, let me know.
Most of all, enjoy Jackson!!!!!!! He will only be this age once. The rest will fall into place.
If you need anything else, you found the right place for help.
Blessings,
Tonia
