My son see’s a nephrololgist for his high blood pressure. He says we may not ever know the cause of his high blood pressure. Every time we go down on the florinef his renin comes back high. So it isn’t his meds. Sometimes there is no significant cause for high bp. You just have to treat the symptoms. Right now he is on 4 meds for the high bp. They are working, his heart size has returned to normal. For awhile I thought he he has the 11 beta cah but his dna test showed the mutations the endo docs where looking for. Please stress to your doc not to ignore the high blood pressure. If untreated it could lead to the weakening of the heart. It will put to much strain on the heart and kidneys. We have been through this. I thank God that my little boy is getting better and we have gotten his bp under control.
