My son was diagnosed by blood tests, but he still has to have urine tests which we have an appointment for in a few weeks. The blood test lets the doctor know the type of CAH and the urine is to diagnose how much meds he will need to take. That is how I understand it. I will know more in a few weeks. My ped doctor always tells me to ease my fears and ask our endo any questions or request any tests that I feel my son might need. It is better to be safe than sorry and it doesn’t do your child any good if you worry yourself sick. I would ask for the test. Good luck to you!!
