Jenny, I am so sorry your Grandson had such a hard time with the IV and that he can not finish the study. I KNOW as a caregiver you are hard on yourself for choosing to do this and you are questioning your decision. HONESTLY..... what you did was a good thing . You tried for the sake of your Grandson and other CAH children to find a better avenue when it comes to medicating our children. I , for one appreciate your efforts and applaud the bravery of your Grandson in attempting to do a good thing for the CAH world. Please let him KNOW his efforts were not wasted and although he could not complete the study his courage for participating may encourage others to do so. Tell him Mitzi’s Grandma said Thank you for trying and I hope he feels better. He did his best and it was not his fault the IV would not take. Everything has a reason and it was not met to be for him to continue. Give him a BIG hug and tell him how very special he is to have done this.  My hat is off to both of you !

Sincerely

Cherry Lane
