Good for you! CAH is hard enough on our children, adding stress is the worse thing you could do to your grandson. I for one thank you for trying. If it weren’t for these kinds of studies, we would not have the advances in care that we need so badly. You tried and a made a wise decision to quit. There will be other children out there who can handle this kind of thing. I for one could not do it. My son is 11 months old and the doctors cannot even get him to sit still long enough for blood preasure. He screams and he gets marks on his arm and his leg. It looks like someone has beaten him. I finally called a hault to his weekly testing. I will try and do it at home myself. The doctors agreed with this. I fear it will make him hate going to the doctors and that is not a good thing since he will be going the rest of his life. Enjoy your grandson and don’t even think twice about taking him out. You did the right thing.
