jayneHappy New Year to all. We have all made another year.
I have been in hospital over CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR. With a SVT and the doctors are quite worried. I had no blood pressure for over an hour, I was given all the drugs to try and get it to go back down and it took over an hour to get it back down to 100 beats then down to 80 beats. I had ECG constantly running, I have been turned into a pin cushion as my system shut down and it was very hard to get any lines into me. I was given 1litre saline with magnesium, oxygen 100% and many blood tests monitored very strictly to stop a possible heart attack. I have alot of tests ahead to find out why it happened. I have to have echocardiograph, Stress tests and then see what else has to be done.
The doctors are not sure what caused it and why, not sure if it CAH related. When all I was doing when it happened was working on the computer.
I was wondering if anybody especially other adults had had this happen at all to them. Just so we might be able to answer some questions. I see my Endo in 2 weeks.
