My grandaughter 16mths swcah was supposed to have "the surgery" she went in the 28th for some yucky tests and by that evening her blood pressure was at stroke level for several hours, they gave her different meds to bring it down, sent us to pedicu for a day and a half.  We had to cancel the surgery until they figure out why this happened.  So now she is on some blood pressure meds and we will have her blood pressure checked pretty often and proceed from there.  We were at Riley in good capable hands and several kinds of Drs. tending to her, plus lots of prayers so we will just have to trust that this was not meant to be at this time,  has anyone  else had this kind of experience!  So now my daughter and I are apprehensive about everything, and the Drs. seemed confused also, some saying maybe the floinef was the problem, others saying it was the combination of alot of factors, some wanted to know if she had a history of high blood pressure, will not that we know of, she is an adopted child but that was never mentioned as being a problem, she’s only 16mths old ,we’ve had her since she was 3mths old, so please pray that wisdom will prevail, Thanks for this support board.
