Congratulations!! I can relate to your feelings - we went through the exact same thing with our now 8 yr old daughter. I guess it’s normal to "mourn" the healthy child that we had in our minds, but you CAN handle this!! Are you taking dex? I took it all the way through and although it made me quite sick, it did exactly what it was supposed to with our daughter: she had/has no abnormalities of the genitals or (more importantly) of the urinary tract or kidneys.... she will NEVER need surgery or have health problems for this, so I’m very thankful about that!
