xyzDear Sara,
Way back in another life time I was a job coach for people with mental and/or physical challenges. If people fit into their jobs they did wonderful and if someone wasn’t a good fit for their job then no amount of coaching would help. Try for the ssi and you never know - Maybe trying for the ssi will help find the cause of why you are feeling like this. I know that some had to go through different "jumps and hoops to get it" Even with the SSI and no energy that in my state people are encouraged to do something and thats where job coaches come in for support.
It might not be the CAH that is making you tired but are you on enough cortisone? or the right cortisone? I take hydrocortisone but thinking about the pred again ......just wondering how to bring this up with my endo .....lol : ) I have a common thyroid condition that wasn’t checked until I was 35 and it can make you tired or hyper. I have celiac sprue (no wheat/ gluten)... I think that may make you tired also. My Gasto Doc is Hot - no trouble seeing him . Might have other things that they just haven’t stummbled across yet. I guess my point is that it isn’t always the CAH and that the thyroid gland is evil. Plus, I’m just waiting for lupus to show up ...blahhhh ; ) See before trying for the SSI for CAH and getting declined maybe you have something else like fibrodmialga (sp) and that does make people tired
Good luck
