Call your endo. now and have him paged. I always say check with your endo. in this situation. My own opinion is this. If he has had a lot of bowel movements, inject him. I was told too much would not hurt. They just pee out what their body doesn’t need that day. Bowel movements that are watery and pretty frequent can send them into a crisis just as easily as vomitting. Not to alarm you, but to make you aware of this. When you have diarrehea, it draws fluids from your body big time, causing dehydration pretty fast. Especially if he is not taking any fluids in to replace what he is loosing. See what the age limit is on the Pedialyte. (maybe someone can post further) Their sugar levels can be messed up if they are vomitting, poopin’, and not taking in any sugar. Have any popscicles? Give him all he wants of popscicles or freezy pops. What you want to prevent is him getting lethargic. Falling into a deep sleep when he has had diarrehea all day that started with vomitting. I vote to inject to be on the safe side and to find some pedialyte. EVERYONE should have Pedialyte on hand this time of the year. They always seem to get sickest at 1 am when no stores are open. Let us know how he is doing. I will send up a prayer for you.Laura
