I too am the grandmother of SWCAH 9 yr old who is raising him and his sister. His mothers grandmother does the same thing!!!!!! Oh and he picks up on it. It really hurts him. The grandmother takes his sister on trips, shopping, out to eat and she keeps her on the weekends when she feels like it.

The grandmother will only take Cody every great once in awhile for the day. She will buy him something so that she can bring him back home & thinks that makes him happy & likes her better.

It is due to the CAH and the meds. The grandmother DOES NOT want any part of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everytime she takes him he is calling me to pick him up and crying. The last time he told me she made him call me.  She does not give him his meds (I believe on purpose so I will not send him). It is terrible that his grandmother treats him that way. It is really the whole entire family that does this to him. He is always left out. I wish I knew the answer because he feels it trust me. I just give him extra love and tell him him & his sister need time apart!! What do you say????
