Do you have any vaseline or diaper ointment to put on his bottom to protect it from all the poopies burning his behind? My butt just hurts thinking about it. The endo. didn’t suggest injecting yet? That surprises me. We are directed to inject if there are more than 5 bowel movements that will not stop at anything. You know I would seriously consider injecting if he is still not himself today. You won’t believe what a HUGE difference this will make in him. Ask the doc. about the Gatoraid too. You know too much may not be good either. (I know too much-too little... you feel you just can’t win) If my daughter drinks too much of it in the summer, she ends up getthing the poops from it. But maybe not in this case. I am not sure, I am not a doctor. So do ask the doc. about this too. Is he sleeping out of his normal sleeping pattern? Like say he sleeps only one hour a day for a nap and now he is sleeping much more than that. Lethargy is a warning sign. It is hard with CAH because you don’t know if sleeping it off like your children without CAH is good or it is a warning sign. Too much sleep I think I would take as a warning sign myself and inject. Just my thought, and like I say many times on this board, you know your child more than we do. And my other saying is, "Better to be safe than sorry, and inject." I will continue to keep the little guy in my prayers. I bet you are exhausted! When my daughter is that sick I always set a watch alarm to chime every hour so at least I can rest in between watching her sleep, literally. That will help you rest too. Blessings to you.
