Sonya,

I have 2 boys with SWCAH (ages 7 & 9).  When they were in daycare, they would get sick all the time.  We have given them plenty of shots.  A couple of years ago, my Ped. Endo. wrote me a prescription for 25 mg hydrocortisone suppositories.  Instead of giving them the shot after the 1st vomit, I give them a suppository.  This has made it easier for us  and them.  With the sicknesses they have had the past couple of years, the suppository has been sufficient.  If they do not improve after the suppository, we know to go ahead with the injection.  Of course, if they have diarrhea, the suppository is not an option and we go straight to the shot.  This has worked well for us.
