Short Stature

I have a 2 yr old SWCAH daughter.  We just got back from the endo today and she has fallen off the growth charts.  She has always been on the 10-15% on the charts for heights but now she isn’t even on them.  He is running some more blood test on her to determine why.  I like my endo but he is not very personable or socialable with his patients.  Therefore, I don’t really know what tests he might be running or why her height might be dropping.  Does anyone have any ideas or what might be the cause.  He did mention the she could be getting too much Cortisol so we did decrease her dosage.  How long does this take in order to see a difference in her growth?  My husband and I are afraid that this might affect he growth as an adult.  I know if left untreated she could potentially be shorter.  If she’s been overtreated with Cortisol for 6 months or so, will this in any way affect her overall growht or is this still correctable?  Sorry about rambling on, I feel like I’m still trying to figure all this CAH stuff out :)
