I feel bad that the poor social skills of your daughter endo has caused you to worry. Mine opened is door as I was coming down the hall for help and stated " WHAT DO you want!" I’m not all that sure how much he likes me as a patient.

 

 ...I don’t even know you guys but here you are a CAH mommy ....I don’t know shopping or something looking for dinner and worried because your kids endo although good is to introverted to tell you what is going on .... is it just their specialty that causes this? because I think it’s their nature...hello patient here ...I ain’t a number. I’ve had the same trouble my whole life ..they think they can’t touch you any place and they don’t say a word or they do things and don’t include you in what’s going on with your or your daughter’s body. It makes me want to slap em across the top of the head - thankful that we have these groups to help us along - As you can see - I don’t have the answer to your daughter question about the height or the blood tests- maybe the lab tech will tell you what the blood test is? What about typing up your questions and putting the paper under the endos nose? I’ve done this from time to time myself. Endos don’t talk and they assume in my experience ..very frustrating. 

I think that the cortisone can’t be to much or to little - it’s like a themostat ..other than that I have no Idea but I feel for you that they don’t talk. I have a thyroid condition also besides the CAH -went through cancer also ( I told people my symtoms - they dismissed me ...bleed heavy ? write down regular).

 I begged for help- questions with the thyroid from the endos office. Was told we don’t want You to be upset ....all I wanted was my questioned answered I told them ...then got ...hummm we have a brochure around here somewhere. To late ...I got all the info that I could off the internet and talked with two people with the condition and sent away to the national organization.

 I like my endo too ....just wish he & staff would really talk with me I have a gastro doc that talkes with me about my medical questions and then some & and the cancer docs tell you everything and wait for you to ask questions but why not the endos? ....When I was a kid the endo never said anything but was to busy w/ the genital exam. Med students did the genitals exams in silence also - blood test  nothing said either - the CAH mystery   . I’m sure there are those on here that will have info for you but also I believe the caresfoundation.org  has info on height. 

I’ve rambled on but frustrating that you were cut loose w/ really no info.

I think that they are better figuring out the height these days but even still  -I’m 5’ 1" and my father was 5’6".
