Misty, Wow what a full load you have........ But for the record your first responsiblity comes to your childs safety and welfare. For this Mother to bring her child to your house sick or with ANYTHING contagious that can be caught by your child is showing lack of respect for you and NO respect for your child. If the child needs meds he is sick and needs to be with her ...not in a daycare situation. You can’t control how a parent disciplines there child and makes them behave ..but you CAN control what goes on in your own home. FIRST.... tell this Mother starting TODAY you have a policy on sickness. Make one and stick to it. The money you make from sitting a sick child will just go to the Doctor or hospital treating YOUR child after he catches what this child has. (not to mention the HIGH risk involved) My daycare for my Granddaughter will not let you back in the classroom within 24 hours and a Doctors release . Also I would sanitize everything the child came into contact with. This is flu and cold season and CAH children just need someone to use a little more caution with them. Not only for your child but for your family. It just is not worth it. If a mother can’t  get her child to take meds and is depending on you to do it for her....I would wonder what else this Mother neglects to do for her child. Wash your hands/ brush your teeth/ eat your breakfast. Oh! The child does not want too........who do you think will pick up the bad habits? YOUR CHILD!        RULES and more RULES and enforce them for your safety and your childs.

I hope this does not sound too harsh or ugly.....I just worry about the little ones.
