We have found that it is definately the meds.....On cortef, and unmedicated (before diagnosis) Chelsea took a VERY long time to not only heal from wounds, but to get better with colds, etc.  Now that she has been switched to Dex, she heals very quickly.  I do think it is a suppression thing, and I do believe the Dex works better.
