Jayne, I am very sorry to hear of your problems! I posted a response to one of your earlier messages...not sure if you saw it.

My question was why you are taking potassium supplements. In general, people with salt wasting CAH have problems with potassium levels that are too HIGH, so taking in even more potassium would just seem to make the problem worse. High levels of potassium can cause heart arrhythmias and heart attacks...a very dangerous situation.

Have you discussed with your doctor the possibility that the potassium supplements may be contributing to your heart problems? If the supplements were prescribed because your potassium levels were too low at one point, it could have been that your Florinef dose was too high. Rather than adding potassium to your diet, it might have been better to decrease the Florinef dose. Either way, I wonder if your heart problems now are as a result of being unwittingly stuck in this vicious cycle. Please ask your doctor about this!
